Fly and Become FreeA Poem by stone_eaterHorror/surreal poemJohnny stepped out from the balcony, arms spread out wide. Outside, the tiny specks of each tree swayed with each breath of wind. He let go of his own wind, sighing, terribly awakened. Bracing to the air, his arms lept up like an angel, and the soft flutter of his night clothes crackled with pain. Johnny's chest was hurting, so soft, so soft... And ever so slightly as in birth, his chest let go. Heart in hands, head in earth. The wind brushed his hair, and the cruel features let go of life. Down below, the roses wept in grief, as a small figure tore through the air, as soft as terror, and smoothly gone. The dust rose, and the grave was laid. Johnny Murozar had fallen. A cry of angst, stricken and helpless, held the air, but dizzolved as the trees enveloped the darkness. The windows were open, and the balcony left behind.
