A Christmas MessageA Poem by MarkWhat it is, and what it should be... A
Christmas Message By Mark Stitz With
jingle bells and credit cards, To
the shopping malls we go, We
charge and charge without regard, Dashing
through the snow, While
a humble little Manger Boy, We
seldom speak his name, If
and when we do, do we remember why he came? Now,
we put up our Christmas trees, Feeling
oh, so, bright, Cook
a great big dinner, And
feast this very night, On
Christmas plums and puddings, And
tasty Christmas meat, But
do we stop and think of those, Who
have no food to eat? So,
Christmas time is not about, How
much we deck the halls, With
all our presents, and our lights, And
shiny Christmas balls, It’s
just about a message, We
were given way back when, The
Christmas Child’s Message, Peace
On Earth, Good Will To Men… © 2018 MarkReviews
