"In Between the Lines"A Poem by Mark "In Between the Lines" Reading in between the lines, is not imagination, That's where my muse so often dines, though not without frustration. The literary banquet there, a poet"s rare delight, A feast to feed a man of prose, a dinner every night. Please pass the nouns and verbs to me, the adverbs not so much. I do prefer the adjectives, the metaphors, and such. A dinner of enlightenment becomes it's own reward, An appetite, of gourmet delight, is such a smorgasbord. © Copyright 2014 Mark Stitz
