A Poem by stinetran

i found you :
you fit wholesome in the bowl of my palm
across my creased life lines
i curled my fingers providing loose shelter
vibrant and lush you felt anew
almost weightless you rocked in my cupped hand
i peeked at you making sure you didn't fall through
finger gaps .
you were precious in that moment
i set you down on my dashboard .
i left you .
i forgot you .
you withered and dried
now you are just a flowerhead on my dashboard
you are frail , too pale to be beautiful
dead and dull to me .

This write was really interesting. I didn't know where you were going with it, and discovered the flower at the end. There's some meaning in how much the flower means to us when we hold it, and yet when it's abandoned and dies has little weight, but the words at the beginning of the poem resonate. Great stuff! Can't wait to read more.

Is there a reason you title with numbers? Choosing which poem to read is like picking an item off a menu that looks good from the picture! (Fortunately the writer is a good cook) I'll keep ordering!

this is interesting, I like how the reader doesn't know that it's a flower that you are talking about until the very end. only thing I think you should do is title your work.
