Strife

Strife

A Poem by Joanna Maharis
"

Strife

"
Strife that melts the tender hearts woes creates a fire whose smoke stack rises through the pores of Mother Earth.  The steam emitted from her tears saturatues the  purple sky with the fragrance of charred wood that burns into the heavens.

I think that is a good write. Anything with fire and smoke can be made to speak volumes. For fire destroys things, however fires in the wake of their desctruction also make room for new life! The smoke has been used through out the ages and and civilazations as a means of purification, and as offerings to to the heavens, often carrying prayers and blessings.

Short and powerfull I like it.
