The Delicacies of PainA Poem by Joanna MaharisThe Delicacies of Pain
Shall I remember your dawning with pleasure,
Or do you prefer that I succumb to the delicacies of pain. Either way the river flows, I’m so shackled in its muddy waters. Your seed has been planted within my soul, And now comes the birth of another fire That soars high into the black sky With an everlasting hunger filled with the desire To burn me down until I am nothing but ash to ash And dust to dust. © 2010 Joanna MaharisAuthor's Note
