Remember

Remember

A Poem by stibbe

When I miss the hollow of your collarbones
I will remind myself that
Your shoulders created craters because your baggage is so heavy
And I am roughly 130 pounds

When I miss the sound of your voice
I will remind myself that
Your words are as empty as wishing wells
And I am all out of pennies to throw

A very deep moving poem. Well Done.

The second stanzas a killer. Cool poem.

So many emotions in those eight lines.. so many thoughts -tears longside, in those scattered letters! Can't guess at what you're thinking but perhaps, can guess at some cloud-filled history. Tis beautiful sadness here.

Was it "Love" or perhaps a hope for more than what you live ...daily. Some lie TO us, some lie to themselves, and some ...reach for their stars... anyway.
