Five thousand covid dead a day

And

Cameras watch the law

So we saw

Bad news and empty pews

Laptops with views

Stressed and depressed

But

Bless the tests

Protests

More protests

Bullet proof vests

Masked

To protect

Civic unrest

Riot for the rest

Who is oppressed

Guess

Hoping to hold on

Broke

More woke

When 2020 is gone
