BreathingA Poem by Susannah Raethere's something incredibly sexy and simply beautiful about the man I love blowing smoke into my lungs
Inhale -
and with a casual flick of the bic tendrils of sweetness scorch and stretch lazily upwards as the dutch sizzles and snaps to life. Impossibly long, thin fingers roll brown burning leaf once, twice, three times, then raise it to a resonantly red mouth and pulls in to himself once quickly, then again, deeper. Closes his eyes and draws his face down until he grazes my cheek with his nose. Soft petals search out pale chapped lips to connect and open He releases from his lungs his clouds - they fill me up. My chest rises, responds, as I drink in the plumes, sip both earth and fire from his lips Hold his breath in and tilt back, open my eyes to hold his gaze for the first time. The earth drops out from under me and, - exhale.
