Clouds in my coffee

This is a poem I wrote while back when I was going through depression. At the time I couldn't keep anything down for weeks

Powdered milk and honey

Stirred up confusion

sipping down illusions

Smoke shaping, forming 

thoughts unsettled and floating

~

Memories of my lover

rumbling in my stomache

like thunder

let it out

bitter yet sweet

continue to stir it softly

I've got clouds in my coffee

I truly thought it to be wonderful!
I could picture you sitting at a table, remenising about a past love that you still have feelings for,
Stirring your coffee, looking off into the distance silently pondering,
Perhaps my imagination got away from me, and I am way off base here.
Still , I liked it!

The title is actually from a song I've heard before but you've applied it here so well that it really makes sense. It's a great metaphor that suggests stormy rain clouds bringing rain (tears) over a relationship gone bad.
