coyotes call

coyotes call

A Poem by Thomas
"

a song i wrote

"
we can watch the clouds fly by
and ponder where the rain will fall
we'll watch day turn into night
and listen to coyotes call

we can watch the stars implode
catch the pieces as they fall
fill our minds til they explode
or open them and lose it all

we can watch the trains headlights
and wonder where that train will stall
we can kill the time with fights
or we could not speak at all

maybe someday
we can learn to get along
or maybe someday
we could take our seperate roads

said every time we get into this
i wanna put holes in the walls
and everytime you get like this
its me who takes the fall
its your fault, its time i grew some balls
draw the line and make some calls
ive got a hefty list of dreams and goals
of which for you, i would put on hold
your'e cold, all the lies you've told
just because you glitter dont mean your gold
and i swore that forever youre the one i chose
but im not the kind that you can sculpt and mold
i gulped and groaned but overall
i cant say that this is all my fault
things were great then came to a hault
so take this in like a chocolate molt
learn the lesson and take it to heart
and reinvent yourself for a brand new start

we can watch the clouds fly by
and ponder where the rain will fall
we'll watch day turn into night
and listen to coyotes call

we can watch the stars implode
catch the pieces as they fall
fill our minds til they explode
or open them and lose it all

maybe someday
we can learn to get along
maybe someday
we could take our seperate roads
