Nighttime Musing

Nighttime Musing

A Poem by Stephanie
"

11:00 p.m.

"
A plane or a star?
I've been staring for so long,
My perception's gone.

A wing light blinking,
Or just a star glittering?
What does it matter...

Still I lay in bed
Watching the night sky twinkle
From sources unknown

Pondering, thinking
While my worries take their cue
From the stars or planes:

They just burn brighter.

Very nice, Stephanie. As a youngster, I spent countless hours laying under a star-filled sky, pondering life before me.

A beautifully simple piece of how easilly our souls may be inspired.

Well penned!

Very good poem. The imagery was great in it. It really made me imagine the sky at night.
