Lie [about] meA Poem by StephanieRant in poem form.Lies. So much damage in a four letter word So much anger Uncontrollable hurt!
They say a white lie never hurt anybody... I say bullshit. It can destroy something precious before you finish blinking. The most precious- someone's trust.
And you lost mine.
I realize you're upset, I understand. But don't you dare twist the truth and make me the villain, the enemy, the b***h. Don't you dare!
Did I utter a single word against you? Not one. Did I yell until I had no voice? Never. Did I intentionally hurt you? I wouldn't dream of it.
I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, or broke your heart. At least I didn't lie.
And here's a newsflash: Friends don't tell lies about each other. Friends don't lie about telling those lies. Friends wouldn't lie at all.
How can I be your friend when you're making it so hard?
