Life on a Tune

Life on a Tune

A Poem by Steph's Script

I have summoned you dear friend

Because no longer can I keep my breath.

I call you for the last time.

So sing to me,

Play me a spinning melody

To preserve my mind

As it was in childhood.

Please --

Continue turning,

Until my last words

Are no longer clear.

The second line is a little confusing. Is there supposed to be an "I" somewhere in there? I like your references to turning, spinning, etc. Along with the music, I'm guessing it has something to do with a CD? Maybe even a vinyl record?
