jiokA Poem by Stephanie
trembling beneath tumbling waves
I grasp the ocean floor, sand slipping beneath my fingers nails save me I cried drowned out by voices of the deep keep me beneath the surface I don't want to see sunlight anymore lungs twisting inside of me shatter inside of me breathing you are inside of me taking everything of me you rub your body on top of me you drip your liquids inside of me believing you love me I tremble beneath tumbling waves of faceless men I grasp the ocean floor, your back slipping beneath my finger nails save me I cried drowned out by moans of the deep keep me beneath the surface of your sheets I don't want to see sunlight anymore your body slamming inside of me shattering all of me breathing you are inside of me I lose everything about me.
