My Oasis

About being lost and alone with nothing left

I am self contained, in paper clothes

And answers that the desert knows in my Oasis

 

I am bared and open, plain to see

Many eyes are looking down on me in my Oasis

 

I have reached the point of reckoning

And this is an awakening in my Oasis

 

I’m scared and lost and bleeding dry

There’s no more water; will I die in my Oasis?

 

I can’t get out till time has passed

Till rescue comes, or I breathe my last in my Oasis

enjoyed reading this one, loved the flow... and the words you wrote are ones to stay with me. repeating 'in my oasis' created emphasis but i think it may distract some readers.
overall, its written well and "I am self contained, in paper clothes.." is a great opening line.

MO is a Oasic journey into exposing oneself.. Great opening 1st verse ... followed by a humbling 2nd... followed by the 3rd which brings to my mind that we all have plateau reaching moments in all our lifes & have to go on ... The 4th & 5th is when reality wags it's weary head & we question our existenance. ..Do we bide our time & wait for those answers or do we pull up our bootstraps & carry on ...
