My Writing Place

My Writing Place

A Poem by Stephen Cousins
"

A pantoum about writing

"

My writing place has changed

My words are moving on

And the poles of joy and pain

Are here and then are gone

My words are moving on

And lights that show the way

Are here and then are gone

As night turns in to day

And lights that show the way

Bring song and prose and rhyme

As night turns in to day

My words will capture time

Bring song and prose and rhyme

For my writing place has changed

My words will capture time

And the poles of joy and pain
