Nihilism in a moonlit alley

Nihilism in a moonlit alley

A Poem by Stephanie W.

 I do the twist

The axis tilts

Somewhere out there, the wine is bleeding

I hear the swish

Your husky voice

A black shoe blisters a dancing foot

I meow, drunkenly, all night

Outside your window

We orchestrate a symphony you'll never listen to

Because the line's are always busy

And you're still howling at the moon.

After reading four of your poems, I appreciate your skill and style. Every one was well written and captivating. You utilize the unexpected and the dramatic with expertise. This one is great.
