It's a story meant to be heard

From the moment I laid eyes on you.

I thought you were too good to be true.

Something about you intrigued me, not knowing why.

You were different, unlike any other guy.

I was surprised by your confidence in every way.

You told me I was beautiful only after a day.

Back then I was young and not ready for love.

But you've shown me what I'm fully capable of.

My one regret was not telling you how I feel.

Because now you know and it's suddenly a big deal.

I wish you were with me and had never moved on.

It's obvious you've missed me since you've been gone.

It's too late now because you're happy with her.

Even though deep down I'm the girl you'd prefer.

Missed opportunities is what i got from this wonderful poem. We have to go for it when this opportunities come or we are going to miss out. Now, George is somewhere else only because of the missed opportunity to express love. I love the message because someone just told me not that long ago that we cannot pass because they may not come around again and your poem reminded me of that. Thanks for sharing. N
