There Are No Strings On Me

There Are No Strings On Me

A Poem by Stella Stone

It is not a crime not to remember.
I was no child for most.
Therefore I'm not their child,
I'm not their sibling.
People of pretend.
I'm not there.
Therefore I don't pretend.
Therefore I'm nothing to them.
