1...2...3... Again!

A short poem about a love that's about to disappear

We knew from the start that nothing will stay the same

But we didn't care, we're happy just by being together.

Enjoying each other's warmth, playing our own little game.

A game of being there for each other forever.

But why? Why do i feel so empty watching you there, standing

Tears flowing from your eyes while you're trying

To keep that smile in your face, damn why you remembered so well?

Our promise that we'll always bid a happy farewell.

All these things will disappear soon.

All the tears we cried will dry, all the laughter will fade too.

But those memories we shared under this one moon

Will always curve a smile and lead me back to you.

I know too well we'll be far apart.

But these things will never change my heart.

My smiles, my tears, my fears and my laughter

The only person who truly sees them is you.

You trusted me to keep your secrets and I answered "I'll keep you too."

Even back then, I've prepared myself not having a happily ever after with you.

But why? Why do I feel so empty knowing it's time to stop believing?

I've shouted I love you but why are you still there crying?

Saying it can't be even though it's for me you've already fell.

"I love you too but it's time for our farewell."

All these things will disappear soon.

All the tears we cried will dry, all the laughter will fade too.

But those memories we shared under this one moon.

Will always curve a smile and lead me back to you.

One day I'll find you, we'll redo it from the start.

"Coz these things will never, NO THEY WON'T, change my heart.

Hi thank you for reviewing. :) I was thinking of writing it and making it into a song. kinda like a draft before putting some tune. unfortunately haven't found a good tune yet.

well i know nothing about music,i cant play anything,but i know a little about poems,so i could try giving a tip using my poem brain,lol,to be honest for a poem i dont see anything that need to change,but i think the tune will effect the song for sure,duh, but what i mean if it a slow tune then it would sound like a broken heart,if it had drums in the background it would make the song sound angry but acceptable,it is was up beat then the song would sound like was happy to be leaving. like i said i dont know much about music that is all the tips i can give,sorry
