The Grand Convergence

The Grand Convergence

A Poem by Stephanie M
"

This is a poem about Hell.

"

Darkness converges upon

a myriad of lost souls

A scream of anguish echoes

from down below

of a familiar voice I thought

I had once known

To torment, and torture

I was exposed

to find the lost cry of that unknown soul

A once proud man wanders the

dimly lit portals of Hell

A brief lapse of reason

He bled his life away

In these stone, and gray wastes

he walks chain to chain

These damned souls hang their head low

and shuffle their feet

Wandering day and night to a

destination they will never find

They are confined to a section of Hell

known as the Wood of Suicides
