A Zen Moment, Too

A Zen Moment, Too

A Poem by Stephanie M
"

This is a New Age poem.

"

Is who I am shaped by the past

An endless cycle of

escaping from the pain

A vagabond in search

Traveling near and far

To find out what it all means

I can see so much clearer

As I shed this veil of shame

A materialistic culture

Full of false pride

But deep down I still feel fear

Am I worthy of life?

Day and night I wandered

Hoping to seek the truth

Until I met a madman

or maybe he was a wiseman

who spoke so concisely

Suddenly it all made sense

"Clarity creates it's

own distortion

Acceptance perpetuates

powerlessness

There is no duality

but in our own minds"

"Clarity creates it's

Acceptance perpetuates
powerlessness
There is no duality
