The heart leads us toward disaster


while never thinking twice


The heart has a vice, no censor


wanting to trust everyone


Days change into lost echoes of


a forgotten time


Forlorn memories of a past


better left behind


Each season dances like a


swirling cluster of stars


The incessant lapping of the tide


The heart dreams of what can never be


What sordid dreams we chase
