Love is a Delusion

This is a poem about loss.

Is love but a delusion from a

jilted mind

When you feel your lover's soft caress

or hear them mutter those three little

words

Do you really believe what you heard

or did they even say that

Was it but a delusion?

Sometimes insanity is less painful
