My Home; My Prison

My Home; My Prison

A Poem by Stephanie M
"

This is a poem about loss.

"

My former self; my whole life

have become an apparition

These four walls are all I know

Welcome to my home; my prison

The former things have passed away

An endless cycle of days

My identity is lost

as my sanity slips away
