Flight of the Misguided

This is a poem about losing your way in life.

Upon the sea of desolation

In a brief moment of hesitation

A poor misguided  soul cries out

But I do not see, or do I

choose to turn a blind eye

But I do not hear, or do I

choose to just hide my head

A shadow upon the horizon

warns me as the storm rages on

I've steered way off course and

all hope of finding land is gone

All my hope and fears have subsided

All that's left is to take to the sky
