Obsession

This is a poem about my crazy neighbor.

Her mind filled with

 

confusion and in a haze

 

She cast the love spell that

 

would bind their two souls;

 

never to part ways

 

A modern day tragedy

 

An ancient tale of

 

two kindred souls who

 

drag each other to their

 

graves

 

She peeks from behind

 

heavy drapes

 

She hides herself away

 

A ghostly specter looms

 

in that upper room

 

All I see is a desperate

 

woman, some say
