Nature of the Beast

This is a poem about human nature.

I'll use you and then you use me

That's just the nature of the beast

My neighbor has everything

but what about me?

That's just the nature of the beast

My best friend's fiancée's been

giving me the eyes

Why not give in, she's been

caught in too many lies

That's just the nature of the beast

Let's jack up the prices so

I can line my pockets with cash

The winner always go's last

I'll walk over you grave if

it benefits me

Just take a closer look

at humanity
