Someone Else

Someone Else

A Poem by Steely
"

This is a poem based on my life from the past year.

"

Two hands, mine to hold

Someone else that isn't bold

Ha, simply another me

Living through her eternity

Be it hell or symmetry

From heaven's great philosyphy

I don't think, I just say

What I know will help

Pass every day

Lost, lo

I am lost

In the snow

Of a hard world

Drawn away

Like a vampire's fangs

Draw away blood

From my neck

Now, lo

Gone is the snow

He hath broken me through

And I'm not someone else

Nay, I am just myself

I like this! No matter what Life serves up to us we do not change who we are. Oh, those experiences may teach us lessons and we may or may not learn them but we are who we are.
