A million scars.

This poem was originally made to say "You can push me around, but I'm staying strong" kind of thing... But it didn't turn out that way, lol! Stay strong, guys! <3

 

Throw me to the floor.

Chain me to walls.

Leave me in the cold..

As the snow falls.

 

Leave me in the rain,

To drown in my tears.

Make me suffer.

Find out all of my fears.

 

You’ve already left a million.

A million scars.

You’ve wrecked everything.

Everything that was ours.

 

Our memories …

Our dreams.

I hope you’re happy.

Although, everything is never as it seems.

 

So, yell at me to not cry.

Force me to go to sleep.

But remember, you can’t rewind time;

The scars are already too deep.

 

So go right ahead.

Shove me to the ground.

Make me bow.

But remember, one day, I might not be around.

 

Around to love,

Around to care,

Around to dream,

Can you guess where?

 

I’ll be right next to God.

Smiling and enjoying each and every day…

Me.

That’s the price that you had to pay.

This really speaks to a lot of people. But I will admit that the last few lines (specifically the reference to God) made me a bit uncomfortable. But it was a beautiful poem, and I hope that you're not going through this, and if you had, I hope it's over. :)
