Caricature of Hateful Remembrance

This is something I wrote back in middle school. It was a hard time in my life hence the dark theme. Things have changed drastically. I'm a lot happier now.

Rooms filled with bright colors show whats easily blinded by lies.

Shut the curtains and don't let the light flow,

for it can be evil in mysterious ways.

Smile when your sad

Comfort when you don't care.

Life is what misery is about.

But follow it to that little dark hole you call love.

Second chances are said to be overrated but you find them to be evenly situated.

I've cross the line to insanity but you threaten to bring me back behind

I won't give in to your accusations. 

Allow me to remember how it felt to hurt my love. 

I'll show my face behind those fake masks but I won't get lost within them.

Fear makes the sweat drip

while hate makes the blood cold.

Serenity won't help you 

not even compassion will. 

But learn to give in and stop pleading yourself to let go.

For I know your name.

You sing the same song I sing inside. 

All that is different is the melody that fills the ears of thousands.
