Everyday We Fight This Fight

Everyday We Fight This Fight

A Poem by Lewis Tedesco
"

The back and forth that couples in relationships feel. Regardless the fights and differences, it explains why love conquers.

"

The sun has gone the moon is bright

I know tomorrow we will again fight this fight

Day in and day out, we got to give them something to talk about

I love you, you love me, but sometimes that love becomes hard to see

We love each other and love to hurt one another

We know we are our own worst enemy and the best lover we can possibly be

Angels blush when they see our love, demons rejoice when they feel our blood

The love is there, the love is gone, but it’s the same old dance and song

This record is on replay, round and round it goes, the record is on replay, every day we know

The sun has come, the moon is gone, and we know this peace won't last for long

The spark is low, the love is bright, and every day we will fight this fight.
