Homophobia in America--Warning: You May Be Offended

I have really just had enough of homophobia. It is everywhere that you go, always watching, always having an opinion on your life and what your doing in it. I constantly hear the word "F****t" or "Queer" being used, whether it is used to describe a person who is being an a*****e, or something that is meant to lower someone's self esteem. Hello, newsflash...get a life. You would think that in the world that we live in today, a world where many difference cultures, religions, beliefs and theories live together, we as a nation would be more open to the CHOICE that someone has made about who they are and how they want to live their life. I say CHOICE because it is a choice. If I hear one more scientist say that being gay/lesbian/bi/transgender

not a choice, but the way a person is born, I am really just going to f*****g flip. It is ridiculous to believe that you are born gay. It is a choice, a conscience choice that people make based on how they feel towards a particular sex. CHOICE, meaning that it is something that people have to make on their own and NOT predetermined.

If you want to get technical with research and data and s**t, try this one on for size: Recent research has shown that by the age of 21 yrs old, 89% of men have experimented at least once with a member of the same sex, while 87% of women have experimented with a member of the same sex. 89%...that's a BIG number when you consider that there are a couple hundred BILLION people in the world. What research and data have also shown us is that when a hate crime is commited against a homosexual, it usually done by a male who is INSECURE with his own sexuality and is jealous/envious of the fact that someone has the balls to live their life the way they want to live it instead of letting society and social norms hold them back. Growing up, I was lucky to have a family who was open minded and open hearted...I was told growing up that I will be loved no matter what I choose to be when I grow up or who I choose to be with later on in life. I think that it is that reassurance that I was given by my entire family that made it better for me to be who I am than it does for most teenagers.

The suicide rate in this country alone continues to climb because kids and teens feel that in a world that demands perfection, unless they are the "model" child/friend/etc. that they world wants them to be, they have no chance of ever making it in the "perfect" world, unless they abandon who they are and what they believe in to conform to the views and ideas that is considered normal...I am not normal. I think that is obvious to anyone that knows me. There is nothing normal about me in any way, shape, or form. I am as far out there as you can think.

Incase you didn't know, or have been living under a rock for a long time, I have a boyfriend. He is one of the most awesome, loving, caring, most considerate people I know and I know that he loves me for me, not for who he wants me to be. I go to sleep with him every night and I wake up beside him every morning and nothing in this world makes me feel better than to spend all the time I have with him every day. Do I feel bad that I was not able to find that I was looking for in a female? The answer to that is no. My views on it and the way I was raised have lead me to this...Love knows no gender, it knows no age, color, race, creed, religion, etc. You can't help who you fall in love with, whether they have a dick or a p***y. It shouldn't matter what is on the outside, what should matter is whats on the inside. I have certain standards that a person has to meet before I will even date them or want to be with them...why should I limit myself and restrict my feelings and happiness just because what I was looking for didn't fall into the "society norms" of a female? Just because I found everything I was looking for in a person in someone of the same gender as me, I am supposed to be miserable because it isn't what people want to see or hear? Ha, give me a f*****g break. All of these "christian" groups that try to tell me that homosexuality is wrong really need to go back and look at their own sins, because honey, ain't no one perfect.

I remember going to see the fireworks last year with my boyfriend at the Oceanfront. After we stood there, hand in hand, watching the sky light up, there was a guy holding a HUGE a*s sign talking about all sinners are going to hell, with a whole bunch on s**t written on the sign that will supposedly "send you to hell"...HA. I looked at this guy and thought to myself...I just love it when the self-righteous a******s get up here and make a fool of themselves, preaching what they think is the way to go.

I have heard time and time again that AIDS was created by GOD as the solution to homosexuality..."It was designed to wipe out all the f*****s, so I hope you get AIDS, maybe then you will learn that you are living in SIN"...yes, I was actually told that once by someone who I thought was a friend and who couldn't deal with who I was at the time. Lets go back to some research, facts, and data if we will. HIV/AIDS derived from SIV, also known as the Simean Immunodeficiency Virus (for those of you who don't know what Simean it, it is an Ape). As I was saying, SIV was the beginning of HIV in the Africa congo. When hunters would kill the Apes for meat, they would often times eat the meat raw or not cook it all the way, which made the BLOOD from the ape still apparent. Hunter eats raw SIV meat, blood gets in open wounds in the lips, body, etc. which causes the human to get the SIV virus which eventually mutated in humans as the HIV virus. Not making this up, scientifically proven. There is evidence that HIV has been around for HUNDREDS of years and was contained in small areas of Africa for a long time, until WHITE men started to travel to Africa to hunt and slept around with local hunters who had the disease. This brought the disease BACK to America where it was quickly spread from person to person. Yes, it is true that it was at one point in time predominately shown in homosexual cases where there was male/male sex with no condom (also known as bare-backing for ignorant people), however, if you go back now and check the data and research gathered, it is mainly in HETEROSEXUAL couples now.

Also, no one dies from AIDS *which by the way, is whats cause after someone has contracted HIV* they die from a secondary infection that has taken over in the body since AIDS lowered the immune system in the body, a secondary infection, the most common being pneumonia or the flu, reeks havic on the body destroying and working 100 times harder and faster than it would in a normal persons body since the immune system is so low. So, contrary to popular HOMOPHOBIC belief, HIV/AIDS was not created to kill gay people. Get over yourself.

I am tired also of hearing that all gay/bi/lesbian/etc. are pedophiles. Once again, lets consult the data on this one. It has been proven by gathered data that most pedophiles are STRAIGHT men who are MARRIED. However, just because HOMOSEXUAL men (and women) have been caught as pedophiles, it wants to focus in on them and make them the poster child for "Pedophiles in America". Um...I live an alternative lifestyle...does that mean that I have pictures of little children on my computer at home to get my rocks off when I need a good orgasim...um...no...I am not a f*****g sick freak, which is what a pedophile is, a sick, twisted, mentally challenged and disturbed a*****e who needs to be taken into a small cell for the rest of his life and never allowed to see the light of day. Simple as that.

Lets go back to these "Christian" groups that say that "homosexuality is wrong"...okay, I will listen to what you have to say, I mean, I am always eager to learn new things...but did you know that NO WHERE in the New Testament *which by the way, is the testament that we are supposed to follow as Christians since it is the New Convenient that Jesus made with the people, btw, incase you didn't know* does Jesus even speak about homosexuality, at all. He mentioned EVERYTHING else except homosexuality. Christian groups...ah...you are always running around worried about what other people are doing and where they are "going" when they die that you fail to realize that your own beliefs are flawed. Not only are you a bunch of bigots and hypocrites, but you are also wasting all of your time when you should be preparing for the rapture...I mean, don't you have somewhere to go? Aren't you supposed to be leaving soon? You are always so damn busy worrying about what you can f**k up next that you are forgetting the most important part of the Bible, the most important verse in the entire thing, where is says in the Book of Mark, Chapter 4 Verse 2..."SHUT THE F**K UP". Honestly. Now, I do not want angry people coming up to me saying that I am going to "hell" for being "blasphemous" or making a mockery of the Bible. That is not what I am doing at all...I am making a mockery of what "Christians" are doing. I say "Christian" with quotes because come on, lets be serious, no one is "Christian" anymore. Everyone has sin, sinned, sinning right now or is going to sin. We do it everyday...so what is it about your sinning that makes it different from my sinning? What makes you cheating on your wife, beating your children, stealing from the needy, cursing, lying, swearing, etc. any different from my sinning, which is living my life, being happy, and being who I choose to be with who I choose to be with? Is it cause they have a dick? OMG, stop the presses, I have figured it out...I am going to hell for being happy because my partner has a dick...omg! However, your f*****g around on your spouse or beating of your child will go forgiven because LORD knows thats alright, as long as you aren't dating someone with a dick! Whats the saying..."Look for the splinter in your own eye before you go searching for the plank in someone elses"...which basically means, worry about your own s**t before you try to get up in someone elses and live their life for them. I am a CHRISTIAN, yes, I am, OMG, it is a big thing that the "F****t" is a Christian. I know that I am not going to hell when I die because I am a CHRISTIAN. I may not be an "upstanding" CHRISTIAN, but I am a Christian all the same. The same as you, and you, and especially you. Deal with it.

People tell me all the time that being Gay is wrong and that God doesn't like it. Well, if God didn't like it, don't you think he would have done something about it by now? I mean, he flooded the Earth for 40 days and 40 nights when he saw that it had become something other than what he wanted it to be, right? I mean, didn't be destroy Babylon, didn't he wipe out Sodom and Gamora because of the sin and wrongful things that were going on there? So...why hasn't he done anything about "them damn f**s"? Well...how about this one: We are created in God's imagine. We are exactly who we are supposed to be. God doesn't make mistakes and God loves all of his children the same, he is perfection. We are each made in his imagine and he loves us regardless of who we choose to be, which is why we were given FREE WILL, to make our own choices. So if God is perfect and he doesn't make mistakes, then every gay/lesbian/bi/transgender person is EXACTLY who they are supposed to be and are living their lives EXACTLY how they are supposed to live them. I am sorry, I believe that if I were living my life, the life that was gracious given to me by God, any other way than I am now, it would be sin. Do you think God wants you to be happy and be with who you want and do what makes you happy, or doesn't he want you to waste your life being miserable and lonely just because our "perfect" world can't accept the difference? I believe that if you do not live your life to the fullest and don't live it as if every day means the world to you, then you are throwing away a GIFT that God has given to you, and that is more sinful that anything else in this world. Think about it.

Well, I do believe that I have written alot in this blog...I am surprised if you have made it this far down and didn't stop reading after the second or third paragraph. Like me, hate me, disown me, I don't really care, I won't lose any sleep over it. What have we learned from this though? Well, lets see...um, not all Homosexuals are pedophiles, are some are led to believe, AIDS wasn't created to kill Homosexuals...um..."Christian" groups really need to get a life....yea...something along those lines.

I believe it is the motto of our country that says "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness"...and no where in there does it say "for heterosexual people only". Yeah, the Founding Fathers had it right when they wrote it...pretty simple...pretty self-explanitory...yea. So hopefully after reading this, you have walked away with a little of information that has better educated you. Maybe you just read this and said "WTF"...oh well, your choice. I live my life for me and no one else. This is what makes me happy. You made a CHOICE to read this blog this far. A CHOICE...you weren't born to read this...a CHOICE.

Okay reading this has really clarified a lot of things/ I'm really happy about the fact that you chose to write about this because I have a lot friends that are Gay and standing up for them always makes me feel like that I'm doing the right thing because after all its as you said "its their choice, on who they choose to love and its not up to us weather or not to tell them its wrong" I love this work and I think the whole world should see this because its true. Can't wait to read your other stuff.

Hello, Thanks for e-mailing me. I haven't been on this site since all my work disappeared. I did have it printed out so it was not lost; just a pain to re-post. Anyway I need to start writing again and then wa-la... there was an e-mail from you! About your work posted here. Yes it is a rant. Although a rant that needs to be written. You make some very great points- like the flood of 40 days! I think if you tighten it up you should try to publish it. What reason is there to write if not trying to enact a little social change and wake a few people up. Keep writing and speaking your mind! Thanks for sharing Lorri
