All I've EnduredA Poem by Rosetrouble with coping
I feel like i'm always preparing myself for the worst
Fight or flight How could I choose between the two? How dare I stare at a wall? I might even talk to it Let me take a minute or so to gloat about the coat i've worn to protect me from the rain all these years I'll take some time to reflect on all the wine And all the people I refused to call When it comes down to it, would you like to sit and listen to all i've endured That's what my therapist is for I hate to dismiss what you've been dealing with All I can see is what is mine It's selfish, I admit that I let you sit and listen to all i've endured
