On Their OwnA Poem by RoseA poem about heartbreak and coming out of it.
A weed I am
Considering you don't want me in your garden Ironic because you watered me every day Even tended to my leaves Changed my soil weekly Somehow managed to keep me in the sun And now you've plucked me from the ground From the roots so I'd not come back I wonder what it is I lack Is my stim too dim? Are my petals not up to par? I have to remind myself that I planted this seed that my saplings can migrate else where And bloom so brightly on their own.
