The thing you hate most

The thing you hate most

A Poem by Hopeless
"

A poem about someone hating themself to the point they're scared of their very own reflection

"
I stare at the mirror, the one with the with a crack,
I see myself in it - I'm staring back.
But that isn't me,
It can't possibly be,
It has to be someone else in that void of black.
But I'm too old to be told sugarcoated lies,
I recognise my hideous eyes.
I fall to my knees,
I'm begging please,
But I am the thing I most despise.

Thank you, I always prefer writing poems that rhyme. I'm happy you've enjoyed it.
