A Poem by Grace Staubus
"

free verse?

"
I would collect flowers and pictures.
Rooibos tea
Blue flowers in it
What do they mean by tea leaves for telling fortunes?
Thoughts from gold book
Orange peal
Every day we grow apart like trees
Tied together with twine
Tearing
Tears
Your sun black eyes
Through evergreen valleys
We swing back
Through hours of storm
Every hour wanting you
Every minute loosing myself in soft seats
I shake blue flowers through my hair
Scattering like a madman
Thoughts through the air
Like twirling ribbons
Twisting into space

dude, the combination of all the imagery in this is beautiful.. i love the pictures painted, and all the objects. like ron, i don't really understand this, but for me there is a direction towards some kind of lost love. keep it up, love it! :) s x x

I'm not sure I understand this piece. Is it about the mind wandering through thoughts and memories? At least, that's what I take away from it.
