Candy Hearts

Candy Hearts

A Poem by Julie Murphy, Julie Desin & Julie Stoddard

Tiny candy hearts

Hold the words I whispered

Once to your own

And to mine

Sugary dreams

A reality so tenuous

Held together by broken strings

Tied with fantasy

And sorrowful wishes

Blown like glass

Through summer and fall

And dying in winter

These teardrops fall

In crystalline sunlight

And deepest shadow

Flying on the wings

Of summer geese

About
Life has been crazy for a very long time, but for now I have some time and will be trying to add more of my writing. I'll slowly be restoring them from my own back ups, though it may take some time. .. more..
