So You SayA Poem by Julie Murphy, Julie Desin & Julie Stoddard
You say I know not love
Because I am not as you You say too you love me But I don’t think you do And if by chance attention Makes me become the w***e Then I’ll just keep enjoying And making you want more I like that I feel beautiful I’m guilty of that crime But its not disgrace I see But a woman in her prime I like the color of my hair And the sway of my hips I like the mischief in my eyes And the pout upon my lips You need not tell me how I feel Or what it is that you think matters You're just a man, a man by god Who left my heart in tatters. © 2008 Julie Murphy, Julie Desin & Julie Stoddard |
