So You Say

So You Say

A Poem by Julie Murphy, Julie Desin & Julie Stoddard

You say I know not love
Because I am not as you
You say too you love me
But I don’t think you do

And if by chance attention
Makes me become the w***e
Then I’ll just keep enjoying
And making you want more

I like that I feel beautiful
I’m guilty of that crime
But its not disgrace I see
But a woman in her prime

I like the color of my hair
And the sway of my hips
I like the mischief in my eyes
And the pout upon my lips

You need not tell me how I feel
Or what it is that you think matters
You're just a man, a man by god
Who left my heart in tatters.

About
Life has been crazy for a very long time, but for now I have some time and will be trying to add more of my writing. I'll slowly be restoring them from my own back ups, though it may take some time. .. more..
