Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by Julie Murphy, Julie Desin & Julie Stoddard

I waited in the garden for you
The whole day spent gazing
Picking petals from flawed flowers
The way I pick insecurities
From my soul
A bee came by to visit me
Whispering things in flutters
That I already knew about me and you
If I could just touch you maybe
Silence could be heard

So I waited for you among the thorns
And you never came along
But I still plucked at the petals
The way I pluck at these fears
In my timid spirit
And a bird came by to sing
Chanting at me in tongues
That speak what I don’t understand
If I could just touch you maybe
Blindness could see again

About
Life has been crazy for a very long time, but for now I have some time and will be trying to add more of my writing. I'll slowly be restoring them from my own back ups, though it may take some time. .. more..
