Sleepless Thoughts

Sleepless Thoughts

A Poem by Julie Murphy, Julie Desin & Julie Stoddard

I eat ice cream at midnight because
It is so very loud
And the rich flavor of coffee and chocolate
Soothes my soul
When I am in need of quiet solitude
As on any Wednesday
The riotous flavor of hazelnut mocha
Is somehow less
Than the deprivation of dreams in slumber

Life has been crazy for a very long time, but for now I have some time and will be trying to add more of my writing. I'll slowly be restoring them from my own back ups, though it may take some time. .. more..
