Broken Heart

Broken Heart

A Poem by Julie Murphy, Julie Desin & Julie Stoddard

So to an end come all things

A heart more broken and

A bird forgets to sing

This night the stars shine not

The moon she fails to glow

For the one that my soul sought

No longer lingers here

Lost in a delusional world

Lost in his fear

And this is all an awful shame

Complexity and completeness

And love are all to blame

Truth and lies intertwined

Madness of a sort

Upon my spirit dined

For a fool such as I

Forgot to look behind

Seeing not earth but only sky

And should among these dreams

I care to wander yet again

I’ll try to recall how my heart screams

Life has been crazy for a very long time, but for now I have some time and will be trying to add more of my writing. I'll slowly be restoring them from my own back ups, though it may take some time. .. more..
