If I Hide

If I Hide

A Poem by Julie Murphy, Julie Desin & Julie Stoddard
"

From a childhood memory.

"

If I hide quite well
And be very small
Then you can't see me
Or touch me at all
I'll stay here in the closet
And curl up so tight
Stay under the toys
And clothes for the night
'Cause when you pull at me
Or tug upon my gown
I wish and hope hard
That I could just drown
In the bath or shower
Where I can't wash your touch
From my skin or from my spirit
And it hurts me so much.

About
Life has been crazy for a very long time, but for now I have some time and will be trying to add more of my writing. I'll slowly be restoring them from my own back ups, though it may take some time. .. more..
