Can you take away the pain
That lies within my soul?
Can it be forgiven?
Will I ever be whole?
The depth of agony
That torments the night
So unfathomable, and yet
I cannot fight.
Where will I find peace
If not from within?
It comes like a heartbeat
Again and again
Can you take away this pain
That lies within my soul?
Can it be forgotten?
Will I ever be whole?
