Solitude

Solitude

A Poem by Julie Murphy, Julie Desin & Julie Stoddard

A solitary step
Echoes in the night
A lonely trek begins
On the edge of twilight
Violet pink hues
Color the sky
Speckled with stars
As dark draws nigh
The journey a quest
A longing for peace
The oneness of silence
A sweet release
The shadows grow deep
The hours grow long
The blackness sings
A lullabye song
Steps on the path
Softly resound
Quiet is the night
Where hope is found.

About
Life has been crazy for a very long time, but for now I have some time and will be trying to add more of my writing. I'll slowly be restoring them from my own back ups, though it may take some time. .. more..
