Balance: Dark

Balance: Dark

A Poem by Julie Murphy, Julie Desin & Julie Stoddard

Darkness surrounds the recesses
Of the heart beating within me
Swirling, ebony stillness
Grapples with unseen hands
There I float
In a misty haze.
How long?
Cold numbness claims my body
Choking on faint trickles
Of conscious thought
Help me fight
I hang in the balance
Between death and life
Between dark and light
Cresting a never-ending tide
Of nothingness.

About
Life has been crazy for a very long time, but for now I have some time and will be trying to add more of my writing. I'll slowly be restoring them from my own back ups, though it may take some time. .. more..
