Dreamweaver - For Josie

Dreamweaver - For Josie

A Poem by Julie Murphy, Julie Desin & Julie Stoddard
"

I once worked for a carnival and Josie was a very special lady. Many thought she was no more than a charlatan, to me, she was a friend, confidant and substitute mom when I needed it the most.

"

She sits in her tent
Behind a table
All crooked and bent
She reads the cards
And gazes at stars
Even has a crystal ball
To some it seems
She knows all.

She is the weaver of dreams
The best there is
Or so it seems
And behind her eyes
The future lies
Mystical dreamweaver
Friend of a friend
Are you a believer?

Sometimes. Sometimes I'm a believer, sometimes I'm not. I liked the poem cause my name's Josie too. Very well written!
