Firefllies

Ive been inspired by ( sumayya's) a dream....

Beautiful gowns, dazzling footwear, and an amazing crown, that's what everyone thinks about a princess. I don't think thats true. Being a princess was much more than silkrobes and velvet pillows. I think being a princess is the worst thing that can happen to you. Sure, you get whatever you want, but the decision is not made on your own, it's made by you kingdom. It's made by the king and queen. Even if you get what you want, you dont get what you want...

 

While I was in the tub, my maid was washing my hair and my other maid was washing my feet.

Just then the other maid came running in saying, " Princess, princess, the highness is calling his daughter. They request to speak to you," What do they want to say to me? Why is it so important that I have to come running in the middle of my bathe? It must be important. I clapped my hands and ordered my maids to hand me my towel, my clothes, and my royal crown and leave. After they left i stepped out of the water feeling cold and dryed my self with my towel, quickly slipped into my clothes, brushed my hair, put my crown on my head and ran through the hall and stopped in front of the throne room. I could hear faint voices of my parents talking. I could hear them saying things like, " Mary, do you think this is right to do this? Should we?" and " I don't know Huebert. But I think we're doing this for the best of our kingdom and our daughter." I decided to step in and find out what was happening.

When I stepped in I said, " Greetings Mother and Father, would you like to have a word with me?" They looked at eachother, and came forward to me. I was getting worried of my parents behavior. Because they never get up to talk to me. While my mother was holding my hand, my father turned around and started to talk, " We have ruled this land ever since we were born. Because its destiny. And destiny has been in the universe even before it was created. It was destiny that there would be a universe, and it was destiny that a beautiful lily like you would be born as a princess to the most loving. And it is destiny that we care for you very much and follow the blessed destiny that destiny itself has give you. And that is why we already think that your the queen."

I looked at my mother with a confused face and she said sweetly, " Honey, we have chosen a special someone for you. A special prince that will take care of you for eternity. And like your father said, it is your destiny for you to marry Prince Fredrik-" "MARRY?" I asked suprised. " I don't want to marry someone I don't even know!" I stormed off to my bedroom, kicked my heels off and lay on my bed thinking about how I can marry someone I don't even know. I got lost at thought and remembered my day as a commoner.

I planned for over a month to be a commoner, so I designed commoner clothes by using my brown silk robe and knocking the stones and pearls of my sandals. Then I told everyone that I was gonna sleep all day and no one should disturb me, locked the door from the inside, wore my commoner dress and I carefully climbed out of the window with a strong and long rope, slid down and jumped on the grass. I looked at the beautiful sky and grass. I could smell the dew and fresh grass. It smelled much better than perfume. I knew that if i stayed too long in the palace grounds, the gaurds might catch me, so I quickly climbed over the palace wall and that was the moment when i felt like i was the most free bird ever alive.

When walked into the town I spelled fresh bread and cider. I looked at the money I brought and realized that I had enough money to buy 75 pieces of bread and 50 mugs of apple cider, but I knowing i couldnt eat or drink that much i bought 2 peices of bread and 1 mug of cider. It was delicious. Then i headed to the town square, I heard people talking about some blueberries that were found in a rare part of the dark forest where there are hundreds of fireflies that will glow when 2 people will find true love or the worst hate. They said that when the fireflies glow they will see the berries. Then they said it the legend might be a rumor and changed the topic.

I thought it might be fun to catch one of the fireflies and let it go. So I bought a jar and headed to the dark forest. When I got inside the forest I couldn't see anything. All I could see was the dark. So I used my hands as a guide to help me not bump into anything. Just then I heard a noise. It must be the fireflies! I slowly followed the noise. While I was doing that, I was thinking about how lucky I am because I didn't bump into anything.But just then i bumped into something or someone...

Hehe, I see that my dream is being put into action eh? Well, that's fine. Just don't copy it exactly. Change it around a LOT.

And like I said, you should work on your formatting a LOT. See where and when you put quotations and stuff. Also the way you write, it's kinda choppy. It's like you're writing small sentences. Take the last three for example. You could say "I slowly followed the noise, thinking myself lucky as I hadn't bumped into anything. But alas my luck doesn't go too far, because just as I thought that, I bumped into something. Or someone...." You see the difference. Well, it's just a suggestion so you can change it or not.

But you have talent! It just needs to be polished that's all. Keep at it Afraah!
