Chapter 2

Several days later, when the Colbert pack got wind of Tristana's not showing up for work, she was discovered by servants in the locked wing of the Rodrigues household where Tristana was rushed to Crimean General Hospital.

Justin Crimean began his rounds at Crimean General Hospital where his first patient on rounds was Tristana Colbert Rodrigues after being found in a locked room by guests, unconscious from lack of hydration and malnutrition.

Justin was taken by Tristana's beauty, despite her gaunt appearance from dehydration and malnutrition. He made every excuse in the book just to come by and check on her prognosis.

Until one day, Tristana's husband, Cristoff was visiting when Justin came into check on his patient. Sensing trouble with the new doctor, but as things get tense between the two pack leaders, Tristana goes into cardiac arrest as Justin swoops into action to revive the beauty.

Just as it looks as if Tristana won’t make it, she finally takes a gulp of air before waking up in Justin’s arms, as Cristoff looks on with hostility and jealousy.

"I'm grateful for you saving my wife, Dr., but take your arms from around her now!" Cristoff demanded.

"Just doing my job." Justin replied.

"Well, now that you've done that, I want my wife taken off your rotation." Cristoff advised.

"Well, you can go to HR to make that request." Justin advised.

Just then, a CNA and orderly came into the room to change Tristana's bed linen and give her a bath after her RN gave the assignments.

"Excuse me, sir, but you'll have to leave while I give this patient a bath." the CNA told Cristoff.

But before Cristoff could make a complaint, the orderly ushered him into the hall and closed the door.

Cristoff went to HR to make a formal complaint against Dr. Justin Crimean.
